My head has been in books for the last few weeks and I hadn't seen much of the real world. My mom told me about this video and I thought it was worth sharing. Most of you have probably seen it but for those who haven't it's a great story.

Happy Birthday Doug!!

I just wanted to wish Doug a very happy birthday!!! I love him so much and he is such a good husband and father. I feel so blessed to have him in my life. In celebration of Doug here is a list of several things you may not know about him:

• He is always willing to pitch in a helping hand


• He is good at every sport, even the ones he has never played before


• He is very smart


• I don't think he has ever sluffed class


• He loves golfing


• He talks in his sleep frequently


• He hates spiders, but will let lizards hang from his ear lobes


• He asks me if he can give me foot rubs (I love this)


• He used to be in a children's singing group - Sunshine Generation


• He thinks that being spoiled by a family in Logan constitutes having a job during college


• He loves traveling (yes, the picture below is of him in the Swiss Alps taken earlier this year...and no I wasn't invited. It was a school "requirement". I say it was more like a "field trip")


• He can cook well


• He once had a cyst surgically removed on his tailbone


• He loves me and Ladd very much!

In celebration of Doug's youthful good looks I thought I would take a poll on how old Doug looks. For those of you that know how old he is, no cheating you have to answer how old he looks. Please vote below.

Good Mornings!

Well, Ladd is probably the happiest baby in the world when he wakes up. He smiles and yells for about an hour. Unfortunately, it's still around 5:30 or 6:00 and his parents aren't quite ready to be up for the day.

Dreadful Day

Ladd got two legs full of shots today. Man, I thought I hated shots, but having your baby get shots is the worst. I'm not sure who cried more, me or Ladd. On a brighter note, he is still in the 95th percentile for height!!! Looks like Doug's praying is paying off.
