Family Home Evening

Both Ladd and Ollie LOVE Family Home Evening (if you want to know more about FHE see here). We've had to get creative with two busy boys and one evening we decided to act out Noah's Ark. It was a big success.

First we hid all the animals around the playroom and the kids had to round them up and take them up the bridge.

After getting back from Utah we spent a lot of time indoors with subzero temperatures.   Ollie had an eventful month. He finally ditched the binki at the insistence of his parents and as you can see he didn't lose his desire to climb. So naturally the crib had to go to. Teaching him to sleep in a bed has been quite the ordeal.  He would not stay in his room so we'd jam a towel in the door to try and keep him in there (should buy a lock for his door).  Most days he stays awake for at least an hour or two keeping busy by tearing everything out of his drawers and closets and disassembling the funriture. If we were lucky he'd finally fall asleep; anywhere besides his bed.

This was probably his favorite spot and he'd always make sure to close the closet door too.  Silly boy!
