Ladd's 4th Birthday

We've been setting the bar pretty low for Ladd's previous birthdays (free cakes, 1-2 presents, etc), so we thought it would be fun to do a little more this year.  And... since my birthday is just a couple of days after his we took birthday trip to Utah.  We decided to surprise Ladd (mostly because we knew he wouldn't sleep for weeks) and not tell him what we were doing until we were on the way to airport (after we dropped Ollie at a friends house:)) and his reaction was even better than we expected. We caught it on camera and it was better than Christmas morning.  Traveling was a breeze without a baby (for the first time in a loooong time, but the 3 hour flight was excruciating for Ladd.  Nothing could distract him from the excitement of seeing his Grandmas (and Tara).
