The most exciting news from this week comes from up north. Doug's little sis, Tara, made the JV basketball team at Davis High as a Sophmore. Ladd was so excited when he found out that he insisted that we let him wear his "longs" (basketball shorts). He wants to be just like his Auntie as you can see below. Bad news - Ladd is no longer in the 90th percentile for height. He had his doctors appointment today and the results -
Weight - 17lbs 4oz (59th percentile)
Height - 26.75 in (75th percentile)
Head - 17 in (43rd percentile)
One of Doug's friends from T-bird, Sean, came back for a visit this last weekend and we were lucky enough to get to drop him off in Mesa. And for all those of you that live here in AZ you know why we were lucky. Any trip to Mesa includes a trip to the only Cafe Rio in AZ. Yum! We had a fun visit and some good grub.

Way to go Tara! Love's Ladd's "skins" getup. He's so cute! The place I miss most in Mesa is "Mesa Frozen Yogurt" (Southern/Mesa Dr) BEST yogurt in the world. I went so often, that the owner knew me enough to give me a "MFY" apron as a wedding gift! :-) I still crave it!
Congrats Tara!!! And I love Ladd's b-ball shorts. Wait until he is 4 and that is all he wants to wear...I have to bribe Tate to wear normal clothes to school!
