We were anxious to get home from the hospital after our one night stay. We stopped at Target on the way home to buy some essentials and a gift from baby to Ladd. We then anxiously picked up Ladd from our friends. I think Doug and I were a little apprehensive about how Ladd would react to our new addition. We placed the newly purchased dog on top of the car seat Ollie was sitting in and told Ladd it was a present for him from Ollie- his new brother. I'm not sure how much of it Ladd understood, but he immediately took a liking to his new dog and quickly named him Oddie, which strikingly sounds a lot like Ollie. Hmmm...
Ladd was still a little cautious of Ollie for the first couple of days, but has warmed up to him and all of the new baby gear.
Every morning the first thing Ladd says in the morning is "Where's Ollie?" and "Way cup Ollie!" I think this is the beginning of beautiful relationship between my boys.
But the picture below is more realistic of our everyday reality. I'll just keep my fingers crossed that Ladd doesn't teach Ollie all his naughty tricks.

What cute pictures! You guys take AMAZING pictures...I might just have to hire you to take Miley's one-year shots, because we all know how her last photo shoot turned out. :) Your boys are gorgeous. Seriously.
