Easter

 

Especially grateful for our Savior this Easter.  Two weeks ago both my Grandpa Pete and Marisa Johnson (my sister's best friend) passed away.  I will miss them both, but it has brought me so much comfort to have the restored gospel in my life and know the doctrine of the resurrection and eternal life. I am so grateful for what our Savior did to help us overcome both physical and spiritual death. This was the first Easter we were able to explain to Ladd the reason we celebrate Easter. He gave some very heartfelt prayers about being able to be resurrected and being thankful that Jesus doesn't have to die again- so sweet!

Saturday we had an Easter egg hunt with a bunch of friends from the ward and keeping with tradition of the past 3 hunts it was freezing cold.  We still had a great time, so great that there are very few pictures.

Easter morning the boys loved hunting around the house for their baskets and more eggs.
