The Minnesota Spider

I take Ladd to ECFE (Early Childhood Family Education) class every week. One of the songs they teach the kids to sing is "The Minnesota Spider" set to the music of "The Itsy Bitsy Spider".
The lyrics go like this:

The Minnesota spider went up the water spout.
Down came the snow and froze the spider out.
Out came the sun and it didn't do a thing.
And the Minnesota spider stayed frozen until Spring.

This is a reality today. I'm thinking we are going to skip class today with the temperature being -20 degrees and it feels like -37. Anyone want to come visit?! Only 70 more days until Spring!

Last week we took advantage of a sunny warm day (20 degrees)and played in the snow with Ladd's friend Abby. I love that their levels of enjoyment are very apparent.

I guess Ladd is still an Arizona baby.

I have been dreaming of spring too. We didn't get down as low as you I think it was -29. We must really love our husbands to have followed them out here!!!! I hope you survive the winter.
